GPA Conversion Part 2

Some schools drop credits, certain courses, or use a 4.3 scale, (which may boost your GPA if you received any A+s). These differences are not taken into account because it would be almost impossible to accurately determine how each school will adjust your GPA. Most people’s GPAs will rise slightly as a result of these adjustments. Keep this in mind when using the charts.

The following table converts percentages to GPA. Every school uses a different method, so there might be a slight margin of error.

If your marks are on a percentage scale and you are trying to see where you ‘fit’ on a particular chart, check out the school’s web site to see how they will convert your GPA.

When applying to a school do not convert your grades. Send them in original form. Every school has it’s own method of conversion it is best that they do it themselves.
